Besides providing support for veterans, their families and our community, VFW Post 1747 provides an opportunity for veterans to experience the camaraderie which was ever-present in the service. Included are opportunities for vets to get together with other veterans, friends and family to socialize and share in good times at various club events. We even have a dance hall, stage and a full bar.
Monthly meetings are held every 3rd Thursday of the month at the Veterans Memorial Building at 2374 Montgomery St. Oroville, Ca 95965.
This building is known as the Oroville Veterans Memorial Building and is located on the south side of the Feather river across town from our Club/dance hall building on Elgin St.
